Root, Rise & Shine – a 7-week journey

Are you passionate about or scared of using your voice?
The 7 weeks together will take us simultaneously on a multidimensional journey of exploration through the overlapping modalities of the chakra system, a specific Indian scale and our tree of life while having fun and using our voices like perhaps never before.
This framework will be the backbone of our time together. A multilayered approach to voice, breath, energy work, movement, intuition and creativity which will of course be allowed to evolve and grow organically with the unique energy of each one of you and the group.
We will start from the roots of our tree, our base/root chakra and the Sa – home note and work our way up the chakras, tree and Indian scale each week, clearing, aligning and nourishing each centre and part of your being.
With each new level and layer we will acquire new tools, play, discover, express, learn and connect through therapeutic singing exercises, embodied holistic voice work, vocal sound journeys with drum, shruti box…, guided vocal improvisation, medicine songs and new ways of really tuning in and following your intuition and heart.
We will hold space for each other, witness and be witnessed as we let go, reclaim our courage, power, voice, soul fragments. We will sing, speak, express, play and create magic together.

The in person course is happening on Fridays from 6.30 til 8.00pm in York.(Free easy parking available)
The online version will be on zoom and is for anyone who is too far away to attend the in person one and will be on a Wednesday – 6.30 til 8.00pm.
